First off I love all of you! LOL. Your such a talented group. My first question is to Lisa. How many jobs do you have. Everytime I see something your name is with it. I know you write but what else do you do?

  2. Lisa Says:

Hey Robin! Aren’t you in Canada like 3 of our 7 authors here?

As to how many jobs I do…The answer is TOOOOO many jobs lol! :!: :???: I don’t sleep much these days but its all good when its about the dream and the big picture. Ihope that one day in the not so distant future writing and working with a few select promotional clients is all I will do! Right now I do freelance writing, take care of 25 promo clients, help my man run an ebay store, and squeeze in as much writing as I can! It’s a lot. BUT I love being a part of so many wonderful authors path to success so that has been exciting. I have made some great friends who I hope feel I have supported their dreams.

I just hope readers remember I write too when they see my name so much attached to promo :???:

Take care and I hope your holidays are going well!

    Lisa

Yeah, Lisa works your butt off..I dont’ know how she does it…

And Robin, thanks for the kind words.

  4. Paula Says:

I have questions for Cathryn Fox.

How long have you been writing? How did you get your agent? And what is your next big project?

    I’m a *Huge* fan.

  5. Cathryn Fox Says:

    Wow!! I have a fan. How exciting!
I’ve been writing for about six years and I got my agent this summer. A friend recommened him to me and I queried through email. I heard back right away, sent my stuff off and within a week we had a deal!!
I still have one more book to complete for Avon, then I’m hoping to finish my dark, paranormal Vampire story, Con-Quest! I’m hoping Avon will want that too!
Thanks so much for stopping by and posting. I hope you’re enjoying all the wonderful recipes.

  6. Robin Says:

Ok I have a question for the rest of you! Your going to be sick of me soon and boot me from this site. LOL.

Vivi – What inspires your writing? Personal experience?

Delilah – What was the first book you published? What did your family think?

Myla – What is it like working with your sister?

Sasha – Is there someone in your life that inspired your writing erotica?

Silvia – Which of your books is your favorite?

  7. Vivi Anna Says:

Hey Robin, we’d never kick you off our site! We luv you!!

My inspiration derives from my own fantasies. Since I’ve never been a shape-shifter or a treasure hunter in the future, I take what I wish for myself and turn it into something otherworldly and unique. But if you’re talking the sex scenes in my book…well, a lady never reveals her secrets!! Oh, wait…I’m not a lady…LOL

  8. Myla Says:

Working with my sister, Delilah, is fun, crazy and absolutely challenging! We are such totally different personalities yet when we get together to brainstorm there’s an unmatchable synergy! We started writing together. One of the books we co-authored will be coming out in 2006 – Jacq’s Warlord. We plotted it together, I “Puked” it out and she revised and layered in more of her red-hot sex scenes! She’s the queen of the sex scene. We love working together on ideas, but like to write seperately, now. She’s multipublished with EC, I’m published with EC, Dorchester and soon to be Harlquin Intrigue (under my psuedonym, Elle James. You can find me at http://www.ellejames.com). I’ll miss her when I move. But we always stay in touch by phone, email and IM!

  9. Sasha Says:

You’re here for good Robin, we love questions!

    Hmm Inspiration?

I’m single so I’d have to say no. Although, occasionally I’ll see a guy that inspires me, but to be honest, it’s more like I share a secret smile with an attractive guy and then go home and write a fanatsy out. It’s not like I know him, or even his name.

  10. Delilah Devlin Says:

Robin wrote: What was the first book you published? What did your family think?

Robin, I love your questions! My first published book was Prisoner of Desire, a sexy futuristic about a shipload of pirates who “liberate” a prison of female inmates to make them their wives. It was published in the fall of 2003. I’ve published fourteen stories with Ellora’s Cave now and have three more accepted and coming out soon!

As to what my family thinks…My husband tells his friends I’m a writer, but won’t give them my pen name (he doesn’t want them knowing a thing about our sex life!). My mom tells her dearest friends, but can’t read my stories (she doesn’t want to know I’m THAT kind of girl). And my kids just roll their eyes. I think they’ve all taken it very well! :)
